EDUCATION
Dr. Travis Love, a South Carolina native, earned his BS in psychology from the University of the South, "Sewanee" in 1997. While working as a counselor, he gained a deeper holistic perspective on the connections between mind, body, and spiritual well-being. In 1999, his decision to pursue medicine was made. He returned to university, earned a BS in biology, and graduated with departmental honors from the College of Charleston. While preparing for medical school, he worked as a cell culture specialist in neuroscience and addictions research. In 2003, he entered the Virginia College Of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2011.
